Over the last 20 years Wilson Architecture has been involved in many projects where the integration of protected structures has formed an inherent part of the design and development process.

Where required, Wilson Architecture will manage various other specialist consultants and contractors, and garner support analysis and research from a range of academic sources such as historians and archaeologists.
In particular Wilson Architecture has been involved in projects where protected structures need to be given new life by being integrated into the overall development both visually and functionally. To achieve this some projects have required major intervention which when handled sensitively leads to a synthesis of old and new forms.
Integration of mechanical and electoral services, fire protection and security systems in re-enlivened buildings is a significant challenge in protected structures and Wilson Architecture has the proven creativity and experience to rise to this.
