Half Moon Street, Cork
The +11,000 sq.m development consists of three stories of high-end retail over a basement retail unit, with office space at third floor level. The concept for the design was to create a new strong urban statement for Half Moon Street- a currently neglected area of the city. The new curved development creates a continuation of Academy Street down to the historic quays, providing a vibrant focus as viewed from Patrick Street. The scheme also integrates No. 16 Lavitts Quay into the overall development to create a modern twenty-first century expression along the north channel of the River Lee.
