Artists Brief for Percent for Art Competition for Extension to C.B.S Mitchelstown
The Board of Management of Mitchelstown C.B.S Secondary School wishes to commission an artwork which reflects the ethos of the school in general and in particular the philosophy of integration, inclusivity, openness and transformation which the new extension exudes.

Wilson Architecture Operating Policy Wilson Architecture is engaged in activities relating the provision of Architectural Services. Its head office is in Cork City. The organization recognizes its responsibilities to its staff, shareholders, customers and the general public and is committed to the continual improvement of the operating environment of its facilities and customer sites. To this end it will maintain a documented Environmental, Quality, Health and Safety Management System which conforms to: OHSAS 18001; 2007, ISO 14001:2004 and ISO 9001; 2008 and will take into account all regulatory and legislative requirements pertinent to its sector, local operating environment and customer requirements. The organization’s objectives include the following: •Communicating its policies both internally and externally •Commitment to continual improvement in health, safety, environmental & business performance •Prevention of injury and ill health •Compliance with all aspects of the company health and safety statement •Using the input of staff, customers, shareholders, government, local authorities, interested third parties and the general public •Awareness and training on environmental, health, safety & quality issues •Creating a better environment for all, through the reduction, recycling and reuse of waste, the optimum usage of resources and the elimination of polluting releases to the environment •Compliance with all pertinent applicable regulations, legislation and licenses •Prevention of pollution •Provision of a service carried out to client specifications •Customer satisfaction •Continuous improvement The above policy is supported by the management and directors of the Wilson Architecture who shall commit the necessary resources in ensuring that the objectives and targets can be achieved.
