An Taoiseach visits Penrose Dock

Our MD Frank O’Mahony had the pleasure of welcoming An Taoiseach, Micheál Martin, Minister Simon Coveney and Martin Shanahan, CEO of the IDA to Penrose Dock, Cork. Taoiseach Micheal Martin said Penrose Dock is a “great example” of the promise of Cork’s docklands to “become a future driver of economic growth for the region and the country as a whole”. It forms a key part of the evolution of the North Quays into a thriving new economic district in Cork. The Penrose Dock development was recently announced as both the Building of the Year and Best Large Office development at the National Building and Architecture of the Year Awards 2021. Seen here at the Skyroom on the 9th Floor of Penrose Two, they enjoyed the view over the River Lee and Cork City. To see more of Penrose Dock: https://www.wilsonarchitecture.ie/project/penrose-dock/
